Surah Al-Ma'un

Al-Ma'un (“The Small Kindnesses”) is the 107th surah of the Quran, a Meccan surah of 7 verses in juz 30, page 602 of the Madani mushaf. Read it below in the Uthmani script with the Saheeh International translation, and play any verse recited by Mishary Rashid Alafasy.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 107:1

    أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿١﴾

    Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

  2. 107:2

    فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿٢﴾

    For that is the one who drives away the orphan

  3. 107:3

    وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿٣﴾

    And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

  4. 107:4

    فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿٤﴾

    So woe to those who pray

  5. 107:5

    ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿٥﴾

    [But] who are heedless of their prayer -

  6. 107:6

    ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿٦﴾

    Those who make show [of their deeds]

  7. 107:7

    وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ﴿٧﴾

    And withhold [simple] assistance.
