Surah Al-Humazah

Al-Humazah (“The Traducer”) is the 104th surah of the Quran, a Meccan surah of 9 verses in juz 30, page 601 of the Madani mushaf. Read it below in the Uthmani script with the Saheeh International translation, and play any verse recited by Mishary Rashid Alafasy.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 104:1
وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾
Woe to every scorner and mocker
- 104:2
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿٢﴾
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
- 104:3
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﴿٣﴾
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
- 104:4
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
- 104:5
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
- 104:6
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ﴿٦﴾
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,
- 104:7
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ﴿٧﴾
Which mounts directed at the hearts.
- 104:8
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ ﴿٨﴾
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
- 104:9
فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ﴿٩﴾
