Al-Asr (“The Declining Day”) is the 103rd surah of the Quran, a Meccan surah of 3 verses in juz 30, page 601 of the Madani mushaf. Read it below in the Uthmani script with the Saheeh International translation, and play any verse recited by Mishary Rashid Alafasy.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 103:1

    وَٱلْعَصْرِ ﴿١﴾

    By time,

  2. 103:2

    إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ ﴿٢﴾

    Indeed, mankind is in loss,

  3. 103:3

    إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ ﴿٣﴾

    Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
